This book was spectacular. Evonna does an amazing job developing the characters and creating drama and suspense with all the right tension. I'd love to read it again!
I LOVED this book. Because I'm not from the streets, there were a few scary moments for me! I felt bad for Telay's life's experiences but I think she learned from them all and they will help her throughout life!! Is there a part two?!
I've never heard of this author, but I decided to give her a try. The title of the book had me impressed, so I gave it a try. I enjoyed every last page from the beginning to the end.
Can I say page TURNER this AUTHOR is something special. She kept me on my toes. This book should go down as a classic the suspense, drama, murder love it!!!!!!
I'm glad I was able to read this book for free because had I paid for it I would've been mad! First thing that ruined it for me was reading the reviews after I purchased it and seeing that people gave away the ending! Who does that?! What's the point of even reading it? Second thing was actually reading the book. There was no humanly way possible for Telay to be that stupid over Taste! The things he did to her was unimaginable... I can't believe she didn't leave him sooner! Anyway...it was my first and last read by the author.
Don't even know how to start this review. Why 4 stars? Well use Telay character was beyond stupid. How can you let a man control you and get away with the abuse and BS he put you through. Taste character can't even be called a man.Disliked him from the start. Took me a while to finish this book since I lost interest because the scene were beyond unbelievable. But then had other chapters super good that would have you turning the page. The ending was not what I expected after all Telay went through.
I enjoyed it from beginning to end
